Notice on Recommending Candidates for the First Qihuang International Prize (Program) of China Association of Chinese Medicine

To the concerned institions or/and personnel:

To further stimulate the initiative and creativeness of scientists and technicians in the field of Chinese medicine both at home and abroad, promote academic advances and scientific innovation in Chinese medicine and push forward the development of Chinese medicine overseas, China Association of Chinese Medicine has set up Qihuang International Prize. The notice is hereby given as follows.

A. Prize basics

This prize by China Association of Chinese Medicine is set up by non-government organization and assessed and awarded once a year to no more than three winners (programs) without grade classification.

B. Candidate requirements

Candidates for the prize shall be foreign experts or Chinese experts who have worked for at least five years or more overseas with great achievements in the field of scientific research of Chinese medicine. They shall have attained at least one of the following achievements listed for the Qihuang prize awarding by China Association of Chinese Medicine.

C. Recommendations eligible

China Association of Chinese Medicine accepts recommendations from eligible institution and experts.

I. Institutions eligible for recommendation

i.     Domestic A Class society

ii. Well-known academic institutions of Chinese medicine abroad

II. Experts eligible for recommendation (recommendation by at least two)

i.     Members of Chinese Academy of Sciences

ii. Members of Chinese Adademy of Engineering

iii. Masters of Chinese medicine

iv. Standing members of China Association of Chinese Medicine

D. Requirements for documentations

Candidates shall fill carefully the Recommendation Document for Qihuang Interantional Prize of China Association of Chinese Medicine (bound into copies with attachments, four copies in Chinese, including an original one and one copy in English). Recommending institutions or experts shall do careful selection and assessment of the candidates and their submitted documents, and shall submit their (program) documents to the Assessment Department for Scientific Research Programs of China Association of Chinese Medicine with the relative electronic versions delivered to jlb204@126.com.
